Born in 1967 in South Africa, Dave Matthews is an accomplished musician -- a solo vocalist as well as the lead for the Dave Matthews Band. He formed the band in early 1991 and in 1997 they won a Grammy award for their album "So Much to Say," and in 2004, Matthews won a solo Grammy for his song "Gravedigger."
