Framing your favorite art print has never been easier.
Barewalls introduces a friendly and exciting way to view your customized framed art. Default choices have been made for you, but all three elements can be modified. (Not available for all items)
Framing Click the METAL or WOOD tabs to choose your frame style. Next click on the finish, and watch your art take shape! See below for a more comprehensive description and image of each frame.
Cropping Choose whether you want to preserve or remove the border around your print. (Some prints don't have borders.)
Matting You may also choose single-, double- or triple-matting in white, black or off-white to complement your favorite print. If you prefer to select your own mat colors we can accommodate virtually any special request - just enter your preferences into the order form's "SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS" field.

About our Frames
All mouldings are high-quality, elegant choices at affordable prices and come in a variety of colors and finishes. Each print is first mounted onto an acid-free foam-board to prevent creasing and warping, and then glazed using picture grade framer's Plexiglass offering UV protection. Choose matting to complement your favorite print - note that this service will add approximately six inches to width and height. All frames ship ready-to-hang and include the necessary hardware.

About Canvas Transfers
Please note that canvas transfers are available only within the United States and Canada.
This technique simulates the rich texture and appearance of an original oil painting. Using a chemical process, the image on your print is lifted from the paper and transferred onto a 7 ounce, acrylic-primed, 100% cotton duck canvas. As an added option, you can have a studio artist apply brush strokes by hand in a light, medium or heavy coating of clear acrylic paint. Simulating the original brushstrokes of the art print, the brush strokes will add visual and textural depth to your canvas. It is particularly effective with impressionist images. The print is then cropped to the image, and the canvas can be stretched onto custom-cut wooden support frames called stretcher bars.
There are two choices of wrapping the canvas around the support frame, the Standard Wrap and the Gallery Wrap. The Standard Wrap stretcher bars are one inch thick. The hand-stretched canvas is attached along the sides of the frame. The Standard Wrap can hang as is or can accommodate an additional frame. We recommend framing to hide the staples that attach the canvas to the stretcher bars

The Gallery Wrap is unique and provides a clean, finished look from front, sides and back. The canvas is wrapped entirely around 1 3/4 inch wooden support bars showing no staples or hardware to create a finished look that allows you to hang the piece without a frame.

We guarantee all of our transferred prints against damage in transit, and we will replace any print that does not arrive to you in perfect condition, or as specified. If a suitable replacement is not available, we will provide a store credit for the full price of the merchandise which can be redeemed on any future order(s).
Please Note: Canvas-transfer prints are cropped to the image - the final size of the transferred print depends on the widths of the borders of the print you choose.
About Board Mounting
Please note that mounted prints are available only within the United States and Canada.
A simple yet elegant answer to your bare walls -- your print is cropped to the image and permanently laminated onto a sturdy and lightweight wood-fibre board with black, white or gold edges. The board-mounted print is protected with a waterproof matte finish, and a "keyhole" groove in the back allows it to be hung easily with a single drywall screw. Oversized items are box-mounted with two-inch edges to provide additional support. Your board-mounted print will arrive at your door ready to hang -- a quick and easy decorating solution with a clean, modern and professional look.
